Power does not corrupt it simply exposes what was already there.
This is unfortunately true.
Corruption is a part of our everyday lives now. We see it daily on the news, we hear about it, read about it and being bombarded with it so much can make us begin to believe that there is no escape from it. That there is no one left to help lead this country who isn't only out for themselves.
But there is, there are lots of them we just have to stop believing that we have to settle.
A man or women of principle of good moral character does exist and all over this country they have excepted the call to serve and they have stood up to serve as ordinary citizens.
There is hope for this country and it's people we just have to stop giving into fear and settleing for what the elites say we deserve what they tell us to except.
When you head to the polls on that Crisp November morning to cast your vote please remember if we stop to think for ourselves and refuse to give into fear we can make a difference and we can help to restore the greatness of our country one vote at a time.

Blind Worship and Coolaid
once again I find myself completely disappointed in the people who blindly follow someone because of the letters beside their names.
It doesn't matter if it is an (R) (D) (I) (L) or (C) anyone who blindly follows anyone is stupid. Harsh? maybe....maybe not constructive criticism is a good thing despite what the board of education says.
The people who followed Obama blindly where stupid just as the ones following Beck blindly are stupid.
If you can not involve yourself in an intelligent conversation and back your chosen candidate with facts and at least some form of common knowledge you do not need to be following he/she period!
Now I would like to turn my attention to a type of blind follower who not only can't defend his candidate with solid facts he also chooses an intimidation tactic, who r u? where r you from, show us a picture?
in the case of this person referencing Jeff Clark it was who is he? who r his family members? where do they live? what do his kids do? he is hiding something why isn't he making this info available?
The answer is obvious to any logical person, he is running for office his children are not, and in one case his child has children now why would he make her personal information available and possibly put his grandchildren in the middle of what could become a nasty campaign?
In cases of general people disagreeing with his opinions which are usually in this case Hurt talking points he goes on the attack with once again wanting to know who you are and what you look like why are you posting online under a handle instead of in the open with your name?
This type of flunkie coolaid drinker is especially stupid... they themselves post under a handle, they themselves attack other peoples opinions because they have none of their own.
Every man women and child in this country is entitled to their own opinions ideas and beliefs, we are guaranteed by the constitution of the united states of America to be able to exercise those rights.
And no one should be attacked in this manner by anyone blindly following any political, spiritual or public figure.
If this person or anyone like them is reading this post please do not respond, just go sit in a dark corner and think long and hard about yourself your beliefs and ask yourself if someone disagreed with you would you want them replying with questions of a personal nature? I respect that you are aloud to have your opinion and I would sincerely hope that you would begin to respect that everyone else is aloud to have theirs.

yeah.....I don't like you.....
So.....Yeah.....I DON'T LIKE YOU...
Robbie the RHINO is skipping his 4th debate...that's right number 4!
being the TP candidate and all you would think he would support free speech and want to have all sides heard openly and take part in a lively mentally stimulating debate but nope listening to the people is not part of Robbies plan.
Lets look at it from a logical stand point here...Jeff Clark was able to turn in nearly 2 and half times the number of signatures required by law to be included on the ballot...these signatures where found to be without fraud by the state board who over see's this process and investigates and verifies each signature before certifying ANY candidate.
This being the case it is safe to assume that Mr. Clarks views are shared by at the least a good portion of people residing in the 5th district. If Robert Hurt wants the job of representing the 5th district shouldn't he be willing to hear the concerns and points of view of that portion of the population he is hoping to represent?
Skipping yet another debate only shows his complete disregard for the people of the 5th district and give one the impression that he considers those living in the 5th district to be either stupid or do not deserve to hear all sides.
The fact is debates have been part of our countries legacy for hundreds of years... and not just by 2 parties!

5th district RHINO and the tea party
As the election draws closer and closer I have witnessed the sad truth that the difference between the two parties is becoming less and less defined. All over the country democrats are facing unemployment come November but then again so are a lot of Republicans. Tea Party Candidates are popping up all over the country with a promise of new hope and a government that understands and works for the common American Citizen.
But what happens when The Tea Party endorses a Republican that has repeatedly ignored the best interest of his community and used his power on the state level to further himself and his family at the expense of the people he has sworn to represent?
The Tea Party is made up of all different types of people some extremely conservative and others not so much, a single candidate can not satisfy the collective.
The Tea Party is a champion of free speech and the rights of everyday hard working Americans yet Robert Hurt the Republican candidate for congress in VA 5th District, refuses to allow the people of the 5th district to hear all the candidates side by side, face to face.
Robert Hurt is the New York lawyer he claims Perriello is, He is the party elitist the Tea Party stands against. And worst of all he has already made decisions for the people of Virginia without listening to what they want. Tax increases, uranium mining that directly benefits his family, and supporting the power companies in increasing their fees on a regular basis. how are these good for the people of the 5th district? how is this what the tea party stands for?
During the primaries I as well as countless others heard the Tea Party rail on and on about how Robert Hurt was not conservative enough, how he could not be trusted. But now the Tea Party is stumping for him....why you may ask? because he is the easy win....because rather than stand behind their principles they would rather take the easy road and deal with it later if he doesn't fit the bill. If he wasn't conservative enough during the primaries how I ask could he be conservative enough now?
Why are people who believe so strongly in the rights of the average citizen standing behind a candidate who tramples on those very rights?
Wasn't it the founders intentions that every citizen be involved in our political process?
Weren't we the people encouraged to challenge our government? our representatives?
Weren't we granted the freedom of speech?
Yet Robert Hurt says that the Independent in the race is not a valid candidate. Who is he to decide? He Refuses to debate with all three candidates. Who is he to decide that a certified candidate has no right to speak?
The answer is Robert Hurt is no one to decide the validity of a candidate. Robert Hurt is no one to decide who's opinions should be heard. Everyone has the right the God given and founding father designed right to be heard, to speak and to take part in our political process including running for public office.
Who wants another RHINO in office? a wolf in sheep's clothing, a new york lawyer who uses technicality to better he and his families financial status over helping struggling Virginians?
